Witcher Landscape - "Process Study"

A painting I wanted to give all I got - painted from reference. Worktime is a minute over 12hours, I have it all on video and plan to do a timelapse on this, will edit it into the post eventually! :)

I wanted to see what I can do in reasonable amount of time, to figure how I have improved with my painting. At the same time, I wanted to see, if I have found a process I enjoy and can call "my own". I think I might have, but it can be made simpler than it is so my learning shall continue.

Learnt loads as I made it. I actually ordered a print on this, so I can hang it on my wall. To memorize, I think it is first I can be really proud of. It gives me hope that I might reach the levels of those amazing artists here.

I knew ordering a print was a small hope, thus I had to follow 30cm x 90cm size. Working resolution was 21k x 7k.
